Christmas breakfast was not a thing in our home. My mom was very traditional when it came to Christmas dinner though. For John.e, a traditional breakfast of pancakes was served every Christmas morning. I’ve never adopted that tradition for him because to be quite honest, our dinner is so big and filling that breakfast would just ruin it!

Instead, we will usually have a piece of toasted bread or a bagel. Sometimes, I’ll have scones baked on Christmas Eve that we can have for breakfast the next day. But, last year, I tried something different! I prepared and perfected 12 different breakfast recipes that are festive, Christmasy, family-friendly, or all of the above, that you can make and enjoy with your family this Christmas morning.

That series was called Lord Byron’s 12 Christmas Breakfasts. It was a holiday series much like the many I have shared over the past few years.
