Happy New Year, Dear Reader!!! This is the fifth Top 10 Recipes collection here at Lord Byron’s Kitchen. It still boggles my mind that I’ve been doing this for just over six years! I posted my first recipe in July of 2013 – where has the time gone?

I can’t believe another year has come and gone into eternity. Time flies when we’re having fun, doesn’t it? I don’t pay much attention to it really, because I have way too much fun running the scenes here at Lord Byron’s Kitchen to worry about those things!
This past year has been really great for the Thomas-Ewing family. Not only do we all have good health, but we also bought a house!!! I feel so blessed; really, I do! It’s been a dream of ours for years and we were finally able to do it. We found a very old country home and we are slowly updating it while keeping the old charm in tact.
We still live and work in Toronto, and we drive 3.5 hours nearly every Friday after work to spend time at the house. Then, we head back to the city early Sunday, so we basically get one day a week to work on the house. But we don’t plan to move there for quite some time yet, so we can work on it slowly.
And I’m blessed to have you too, Dear Reader. As much as I love to cook and write, it is you who has driven my desire to make Lord Byron’s Kitchen bigger and better. I work hard to ensure my recipes are easy and perfect every time. I work hard to post a variety of recipes for all tastes and diets. And, I work hard to stay in touch with you and to answer your questions.
For the whole of 2019, including all of the Christmas recipes in my bundt cake and cookie series, I published a total of 168 recipes this year. That’s an average of 3 recipes per week! See, I told you I love cooking and baking!
The recipes that follow are the Top 10 Recipes of 2019. For the first time, all of the recipes in this year’s Top 10 are new! In previous years, recipes carried over from year to year due to popularity, but this year, the newer recipes beat out the older recipes for top spot.
If you are curious to see what recipes were included in the Top 10 Recipes in previous years, you can find them here: 2018 – 2017 – 2016 – 2015
Now, without further delay, here are the Top 10 Recipes of 2019 from Lord Byron’s Kitchen:
There you have it! If you have already tried all of these recipes, why not try them again!? Or, maybe you missed one or two along the way. Go through the list and make the recipes you’ve missed. After all, you don’t want to miss out on the Top 10 Recipes of 2019! Do you? 😉
Lastly, Dear Reader, thank you for following me on this journey. I’ll be back in a few days with new recipes and we’ll finally take a deserved break from all of that Christmas baking – at least for eleven months! I wish you all the very best and happiest that 2020 has to offer! Cheers!
