Christmas Reindeer Droppings are a no-bake, inexpensive snack that you can make this holiday season. Prepared with only five ingredients, you could easily package this sweet and crunchy snack in cellophane bags and tie them with a festive ribbon to make a delicious gift for friends, neighbours, and coworkers!
Measure the confectioner’s sugar into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Measure the white chocolate chips and vegetable oil into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at half power or speed. This will melt the chocolate slowly and prevent it from seizing. Stir well between each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Once smooth, pour the chocolate into the bowl of cereal and use a rubber spatula to stir well until every piece of cereal is coated.
Next, add the sprinkles and stir to incorporate.
Lastly, add the confectioner's sugar and stir well to coat.
Transfer the cereal to two baking sheets lined with parchment paper and spread the cereal out. Allow the pieces to air dry for 2 hours.
Once the cereal is dry to the touch, store in a food-safe bag at room temperature for up to 7 days or package into individual cellophane bags for gift-giving.
