Every occasion, whether it be a birthday party, a baby shower, a backyard summer barbecue, or a New Year’s Eve bash, there’s one constant – dips and spreads.
This is a collection of some of my favourite dips and spreads here at Lord Byron’s Kitchen. These recipes are perfect for any get together, or even for that one night when you pamper yourself with snack foods and Netflix!
With New Year’s Eve parties and socials right around the corner, I thought now would be a great time to publish a collection of my favourite dips and spreads. This will be the last post of 2018 here at Lord Byron’s Kitchen.
The time has come for me to take a day or two of rest before I go back to posting every day recipes. Truthfully, I don’t want to post another cookie or sweet treat recipe for at least a month!
Whatever you’re doing for New Year’s Eve, Dear Reader, please be safe and I wish you all a New Year filled with hope, love, joy, and health. Let’s raise a glass to 2019! Happy New Year!!!
In no particular order, here are the dips and spreads that will help to make your celebrations extra special, and most certainly, extra delicious!
Homemade hummus is always best and it’s easy too! All you need is a few basic ingredients to make this delicious Sun Dried Tomato and Fresh Basil Hummus. You’ll never buy prepared hummus again!
Dips and spreads are my weakness, so I’m going to fancy it up with this Spicy Baked Cauliflower and Cheddar Pate. So creamy, so cheesy, and so delicious! A perfect dish to make for company!
Pistachio Goat Cheese Appetizer is perfect for those dressed-up dinner parties, or those casual, eat-in-your-pajamas television binge days. A crowd winning appetizer for sure!
This guacamole recipe is for the picky eater; we all have at least one in our lives! Guacamole for Cilantro Haters has three things that make it different than any other guacamole recipe. Cilantro haters, this one is for you!
This dip eats like a meal; the artichokes and spinach are not hidden behind large amounts of sour cream or mayo. This is the chunkiest Artichoke and Spinach Dip recipe you’ll find!
In more cases than not, simple is best! Cheddar Cheese Green Onion Dip is a perfect example of simple and best! Oh, and easy and delicious too!!
The comforting and familiar flavours of stuffed peppers have been deconstructed in this Stuffed Pepper Dip. Hearty, cheesy, and beefy – a dip that eats like a meal!
Probably the most common and recognizable hummus, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus packs a punch of flavour! A great flavour to start with if the world of homemade hummus is new to you!
Warm and creamy, a great dipping option for hosting friends at home. Baked Goat Cheese Dip in Marinara Sauce is sure to be a winner; make a double batch!
There’s no doubt that Hot Four Cheese Roasted Red Pepper Dip will become your favourite dip of all time – four cheeses, smokey and roasted flavour, gooey and creamy, and oh so delicious! Get snackin’!
Dill Pickle Dip should only be called Dill Pickle Dip if it’s made with both dill pickles and fresh dill, and has a base of cream cheese – any other way is not worthy of the name. This dip is for the serious dill lover!
Of all the varieties of hummus, Caramelized Onion Hummus is my favourite. It works great with veggies, but also as a spread with grilled crostini, crackers, or rice cakes. This hummus is completely versatile!
Yes, this is a recipe for a ranch seasoning blend, but you can blend this stuff right into some sour cream for one of the best ranch dips you’ve ever tasted! Keep some of this in your pantry for a quick and easy ranch dip or dressing anytime!
