A delicious and delightful all-purpose sauce made with olive oil and the herbs and spices found right in everyone's spice rack!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried red chili flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan.  Whisk over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.  Don't be tempted to leave it on the heat for too long; the dried herbs will burn!
  • Use sauce on pasta, chicken, fish, or even baked potato!

Notes

As you can see in the photos, I tossed the sauce with cooked pasta, and topped it with parmesan, parsley, and more dried chili flakes.
Store leftover sauce in a clean mason jar with a tight-fitting seal for up to two weeks in the refrigerator.  
Sauce will settle, so whisk before spooning over pasta, or shake well when removing sauce from the refrigerator.
