Homemade sauce is always better, and you can’t beat this 10 Minute Teriyaki Sauce!  Chances are, you'll have everything you need right in your pantry!

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add the water and corn starch to a sauce pan and whisk until the corn starch dissolves.  

  2. Whisk in all remaining ingredients.  Turn the heat to medium and allow the mixture to come to a boil.

  3. Continue to whisk.  Sauce will thicken quickly.  Remove from heat and use immediately, or cool and transfer to a mason jar to refrigerate for later use.  

Recipe Notes

One serving is approximately two tablespoons.

Sauce will last up to one week in a sealed mason jar.  Keep refrigerated.
